What Is Alpha & Theta?
Alpha sits between 8Hz and 12Hz. It's the frequency your brain produces when you're relaxed but alert. Eyes closed, breathing slowed, mind quiet but not asleep. The natural state of meditation.
Low Theta sits just below that at 4Hz to 7Hz. Deeper still. The borderland between conscious thought and the subconscious. Where insight happens. Where the mental chatter finally stops.
These are the frequencies your brain is trying to reach every time you sit down to meditate. Binaural beats give it a path there.
How Binaural Beats Help
Meditation is a skill. It takes practice to quiet the mind on demand. A binaural beat in the Alpha or Theta range gives your brain a consistent low frequency signal to follow during practice.

How To Listen
Use stereo headphones. Always. The beat only exists when each ear receives its own tone separately.
Sit in your usual meditation position or lie down if that works better for you.
Start the session before you begin. Let the frequency settle before you try to follow it.
Breathe naturally. Don't force anything. Just listen and let the signal do its work.
Longer is better. 20 to 30 minutes gives your brain time to genuinely shift state.
